Over the course of one year, USIP convened a national-level Consultation Advisory Committee to gather community views on security sector reform (SSR) and the disarmament, demobilisation, reintegration and repatriation (DDRR) process, and debate adequate policy responses. USIP organized local community dialogues and carried out key informant interviews to provide inputs to the Committee. In December 2015, USIP began a year-long project to support the political transition in the Central African Republic, and specifically the implementation of the Bangui Forum outcomes.
I was commissioned InsightShare as a participatory video (PV) trainer, photography and exhibition curator as part of the project " DYNAMIQUES SECURITAIRES, LA VOIX DE LA BASE" to deliver 2 PV processes with local communities in Begoua and Kaga Bandoro in CENTRAL AFRICAN REPUBLIC as part of Build UpTWO-WAY COMMUNICATION AND PARTICIPATORY ARTS METHODOLOGY for UNITED STATES INSTITUTE OF PEACE. I travelled twice to Central African Republic on 2016. The result of the research, dialogues, community films and artwork was exhibited at the Alliance Francaise in Bangui.
